Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our third for November 2015. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the new release from boy band VIXX. The song is titled “Chained Up” and it was released this Monday November 9th. Since then the video has been viewed over 1million times on the REALVixx YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Chained Up” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has strong vocals throughout and a nice pop-dance theme.
- Secondly the video features sub-story lines for each of the band members which help create an interesting and re-watchable video.
- Finally VIXX have been around for a few years now and have released a number of hit songs and also have a large fan base.
- On the negative side; some people have commented that it’s a little boring and needlessly slow at times.
