K League Classic 2015 Round 38 November 28th 29th Final roundThe K League Classic concludes this weekend with it’s 38th and final round of the season. Both the championship and relegation issue have already been sorted but there are a few positions that can change and more. The highlight game of this round of games is on Sunday between 2nd placed Suwon Bluewings and champions Jeonbuk Hyundai, as this will be a key game in finalizing the final group stage champions league spot.

Updated K League Classic League Table

K League Classic 2015 League Table November 28thThe league was won by Jeonbuk Hyundai a few weeks ago and they’ve been top since close to the start of the season and are 9 points clear.  Suwon Bluewings and Pohang Steelers are battling it out for the last group stage AFC Champions League spot. The 3rd placed side will enter the playoff round. Also FA Cup winners Seoul, Seongnam and Jeju complete the top half.
Incheon are 7th (top of the Relegation Round) 1 point behind them are Ulsan Hyundai and then Jeonnam Dragons are in 9th 4 points behind them. Then come Gwangju who are 13 points ahead of 11th placed Busan and finally relegated Daejeon who are 7 points adrift.

Asian Champions League Group Stage Spot Update: Jeonbuk Hyundai *Champions* and FC Seoul *FA Cup Winner* have already secured their spots.
A win for Suwon will give them the final place. Also if they draw and Pohang draw or lose they’ll claim the spot. If Suwon lose there only hope it that Pohang also lose. A draw for Pohang here will be enough. Finally a win for Pohang plus a Suwon draw or defeat will give Pohang the place.

K League Classic 2015 Round 38 Previews & Predictions

This round of games is evenly split between Saturday and Sunday Afternoons. Here are our brief previews and predictions of this K League Classic Round 38 round of Games;

Saturday November 28th 2015 (All Relegation Round):
Gwangju vs. Daejeon Citizen (2pm)

Both sides have lost their last two games, however Gwangju have been safe for a while whilst Daejeon Citizen were sadly relegated last weekend. This might be a game were backup and rotation players get a run out, honestly we see it ending in a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1

Incheon United vs. Jeonnam Dragons (2pm)

FA Cup runners-up Incheon United are undefeated so far during the Relegation Round. Whilst Jeonnam Dragons have picked up 4 points from their last 2 games. This game will also be a farewell match for Lee Chun-Soo, and we see Incheon winning this one.
Prediction: 2 – 0

Ulsan Hyundai vs. Busan I’Park (2pm)

Ulsan Hyundai have won 3 games straight, whilst Busan I’Park haven’t won since the league split. Busan I’Park need to stay fresh because of their Relegation Playoff games coming up and therefore it will be close. However we see Ulsan edging it.
Prediction: 1 – 0

Sunday November 29th 2015 (All Championship Round):

Suwon Bluewings vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai (2pm)

2nd placed Suwon Bluewings came from behind to secure a vital win vs. Pohang last Sunday. Whilst Champions Jeonbuk draw against Seongnam. This game will be key in finalizing the final group stage AFC Champions League spot and therefore we feel that Suwon will win this time.
Prediction: 2 – 1

Pohang Steelers vs. FC Seoul (2pm)

Pohang Steelers and FC Seoul will both be in the AFC Champions League next season, however Pohang need a win to stand a chance of avoiding the playoff stage. Both side have similar recent form, but we see home advantage paying off for Pohang.
Prediction: 1 – 0

Seongnam FC vs. Jeju United (2pm)

The 6th and 7th placed sides Seongnam and Jeju United meet in the final game of the weekend. This match won’t affect anything in the league, however bagging rights are at least on the table. We see both sides fielding backup players and draw maybe a likely outcome.
Prediction: 1 – 1

K League Challenge 2015 Playoffs

The K League Challenge finished last weekend and we’re now in the post-season playoff stages. Suwon City FC draw with Seoul E-Land during the week and progressed to this Saturdays game vs. Daegu.

K League Challenge End of Season League Table

K League Challenge 2015 Final League TableHere is the final league table for the 2015 K League Challenge. Sangju Sangmu ended the season champions and earn automatic promotion back to the K League Classic after just one season away. As mentioned above Daegu and Suwon City are still in the playoffs, with Seoul E-Land not progressing. The rest will be trying the improve next season, especially Chungju who picked up the wooden spoon of 11th place.

K League Challenge 2015 Playoff Preview and Prediction

Saturday November 28th 2015:

Daegu vs. Suwon City FC (2pm)

Just like for Suwon City on Wednesday night, a draw will be enough for Daegu to progress to the Promotion/Relegation Playoff Final. Therefore Suwon have to win. Daegu let the championship slip through their fingers and haven’t won in 4 games, however 3 of those games ended in a draw.
This Season Suwon beat Daegu twice, one game ended in a draw and the other in favor of Daegu.
This will be close and hopefully as entertaining as the previous playoff game. We see it ending in a draw.

Prediction: Daegu 2 – 2 Suwon City FC
