Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our fifth for November 2015. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases this week, we’ve chosen the new release from girl group 9Muses. The song is titled “Sleepless Night” and it was released this past Monday November 23rd. Since then the video has been viewed over 250,000 times on the KT Music YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Sleepless Night” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song features strong and powerful lyrics, and is a nice background driving type track.
- Secondly the video matches the song nicely and has an interesting but serious tone.
- Finally 9Muses have been around for a number of years and continue to grow as a group.
- On the negative side; it’s a little simple and might be overlooked vs. other releases.
