Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our first for January 2016 and first of the year. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from KPOP boy band iKON. The song is titled “Dumb and Dumber” and it was officially released on Wednesday December 23rd on the Official iKON YouTube Channel. Its been viewed over 3million times. Here are our reasons for choosing “Dumb and Dumber” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a fast pace and tempo with interesting lyrics. Also there is a good mix of both vocals and rapping.
- Secondly the music video is fun and enjoyable to watch. The group also seem relaxed and are enjoying making the video.
- Finally iKON debuted in 2015 and were the biggest debut group, 2016 maybe a key year for them.
- On the negative side; it’s a little late 90’s.
