This is the second in our series highlighting our top 5 purchases from the Korean online store GMarket, in this case during the months of November and December 2015. GMarket for those who don’t know is an online marketplace similar to both Amazon Marketplace and eBay back in the United States, UK etc. You can purchase items through the website from some of the companies and have them delivered worldwide, whilst other products are only available domestically in South Korea. The range of different products stretches from clothing and cosmetics to groceries and household products.
Our top 5 products are a wide mix with each one being from a different product category. They may not all be super interesting but we’ve found each useful in their own way. Also they’re not Christmas themed but some are for the winter season.
Our Top 5 GMarket Purchases for November / December 2015
In no particular order:
On a cold winters day when you’re outside you’ll be glad you have a hot pack to keep your hands from freezing. At ₩220 (20cents) each they’re well worth the money. Also we got the 45g packs but they also come in 80g sizes.
2 – Nivea Deodorant (₩3,900 each + Shipping)
One everyday item that is difficult to find in South Korea at a reasonable price in Deodorant. These Nivea Sticks are still a little expensive compared to back home but better value than most other options. Tip: Buy a few to save on shipping costs.
3 – Non-Alcoholic Hite zero beer plus 2 cool bags (was ₩15,900, now ₩16,900)
Excellent value for 24 cans and 2 cool bags. If you’re looking to lose some of that christmas weight or reduce your alcohol intake this maybe a good option. Here is more information on Hite Zero 0.00%.
4 – Xiaomi MiFit Band / Fitness Monitor (₩17,900 + Shipping)
A nice accessory to track your daily fitness, it’s basically a cheap version of the Fitbit. You don’t need to have your phone on you for it to work and it tracks your steps and sleep pretty well. The data is a little simple.
5 – Fashion Girl Coloring Book + Pencil Set (₩12,900 including Shipping)
Used a coupon for some extra discount, made a nice gift for a friend who’s traveling soon. Maybe for those into art and fashion than most. Coloring books are big business these days so this is a good way to join the trend.
Here are a Few Useful GMarket Related Links & Declaimer
Declaimer: We don’t work for or represent GMarket or eBay Korea in anyway. We’re also not benefiting directly or indirectly from the sales of the items listed. This post is simply to highlight a few of the items we purchased recently and enjoyed, found useful and/or felt were good value. Also if you purchase any of these items and don’t agree with our opinion, please complain to the supplier and not us.
