Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our second for January 2016. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from KPOP girl group DalShabet. The song is titled “Someone Like U” and it was officially released on Monday January 4th on the 1theK YouTube Channel. Its been viewed around 500,000 times. Here are our reasons for choosing “Someone Like U” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a relaxing 80s vibe with strong vocals and interesting lyrics.
- Secondly the music video as a simple story line, a nice dance routine and is overall enjoyable.
- Finally Dalshabet debuted back in 2011, and have slowly but surely developed into a well know and well liked group.
- On the negative side; walking into a club with guns might not have been the best concept.
