Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our fifth for January 2016. Although there were a number of very interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the new release from KPOP star Ryeowook (From Super Junior). The song is titled “The Little Prince” and it was officially released on Wednesday January 27th. In that time its been viewed around 1,000,000 times on the SMTOWN YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “The Little Prince” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is beautifully sung with Ryeowook’s vocals shown at their very best.
- Secondly the music video has a story line and focuses clearly on Ryeowook.
- Finally Ryeowook is a popular and well liked member of Super Junior, so his step forward into a solo career it’s a big surprise or risk.
- On the negative side; The title is a little confusing as it’s got nothing to do with the book of the same name.
