Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our first for February 2016. Although there were a number of interesting new releases recently, we’ve chosen the big new release from 4Minute. The song is titled “Hate“ and it was released on Sunday January 31st. In that time it has been viewed almost 5 million times on the official 4Minute YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Hate” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is an interesting mix of hip-hop, rapping and ballad type vocals.
- Secondly the video is artist and interesting, it also highlights the song more than a storyline.
- Finally 4Minute are among the most popular KPOP Girl group at the moment, and their releases are always well received by their fans.
- On the negative side; it’s bit strange mix of genres which some might like and others might not.
