Recently we went to a Burger place in the Seoul student hub which is Hongdae called Hand in Hand Burger (핸인핸버거). This place is a little off the main stretch of bars and restaurants, however it’s generally pretty popular. Here are our brief thoughts;
Thoughts: Firstly the prices are reasonable, the Original Burger costs ₩6400 ($6) a little higher than McDonald’s but you really get your moneys worth. Also draft beers for only ₩2500 in Hongdae are worthwhile looking into.
Secondly the food is cooked to order and the open kitchen style allows you to see that they’re using quality and fresh ingredients. It’s very tasty and simple, giving you a real burger.
Finally the location down a quite street in a cool area is nice and relaxing on a warm summers day.
Overall Hand in Hand Burger is a great spot to stop for lunch or before heading into Hongdae for a night of fun. It’s a little pricey, but worth it.
