The K League Classic continues this weekend with the second round of games with 6 interesting matchups. The highlight match is the all Hyundai clash between Ulsan and reigning champions Jeonbuk. Although Jeonbuk will be favorites this matchup is generally entertaining.

K League Classic 2016 League Table Update
After just one week the table doesn’t show much yet. Jeju United, Sangju Sangmu and Seongnam lead the way, with Incheon, Suwon Bluewings and Ulsan Hyundai sitting at the bottom.
K League Classic 2016 Round 2 Previews & Predictions
This round of games take place on Saturday (2) and Sunday (4). All of the games take place in the afternoon. Here are our brief previews and predictions for the 2nd round of 2016 K League Classic games;
Saturday March 19th 2016:
Suwon City FC vs. Seongnam FC (3pm)
This will be Suwon City’s first ever home game in the top tier of Korean football and they’ll be hoping to build on the point they picked up last weekend. Seongnam shocked almost everyone last weekend by beating heavyweights Suwon Bluewings. This should be close if Seongnam perform like last weekend they should edge it.
Prediction: 1 – 2
Gwangju vs. Jeju United (4pm)
Gwangju let a 2-0 lead over Pohang slip last weekend on the road, in the sealing a point in the 98th minute. Jeju United beat Incheon 3-1 at home and looked solid whilst doing it. Jeju are often poor away from home and so we’re siding with a draw in this one.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Sunday March 20th 2016:
Incheon United vs. Pohang Steelers (2pm)
Incheon United lost last weekend on the road to Jeju United, but are generally solid at home. Pohang Steelers draw 3-3 vs. Gwangju in the game of the round (could be a super early tip for game or at least second half of the season). This will be tight and honestly we don’t see a classic but a dull draw.
Prediction: 0 – 0
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai (2pm)
Ulsan Hyundai lost 2-0 on at Sangju Sangmu last weekend and although looked good at times, they didn’t look completely ready for the season ahead. Jeonbuk edged out FC Seoul in a tight game, and then traveled to Vietnam and picked up a win in the champions league. Jeonbuk should win this one, but there maybe a few tired legs on the field.
Prediction: 0 – 2
FC Seoul vs. Sangju Sangmu (2pm)
FC Seoul bounced back from their league defeat last weekend to Jeonbuk to beat Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng in the champions league 4-1 in China. Sangju Sangmu started their return season in the Classic by impressive beating Ulsan. We see Seoul winning this one, but Sangju could give them a game.
Prediction: 3 – 1
Suwon Bluewings vs. Jeonnam Dragons (4pm)
Suwon Bluewings crashed to a surprise defeat last weekend to local(ish) rivals Seongnam FC, they then traveled to Australia and draw in the champions league. Jeonnam Dragons on the other hand picked up a point at home vs. Suwon City. We see Suwon taking the points home, as long as they’ve improved since last weekend and recovered from their travels during the week.
Prediction: 2 – 1
