Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our third for March 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past week or so, however we’ve chosen the new release by Hyomin (from T-ARA). The song is titled “Sketch” and it was released this past Wednesday March 16th. In that short time it’s already been viewed around 450,000 times the MBK Entertainment YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Sketch” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is sweet and focuses more on the vocal skills of Hyomin.
- Secondly the video matches the lyrics and song concept nicely, it also has a good amount of production value.
- Finally Hyomin is best known as one of the original members of T-ARA and has found some good success as a solo artist over the past year.
- On the negative side; the video is a little overly sexual and might be appeal to everyone.
