“Fire” by BTS (Bangtan Boys) – KPOP Song of the Week

Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our second for May 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past week or so, however we’ve chosen the new release from BTS. The song is titled “Fire” and it was released on YouTube Sunday May 1st, and in that time it’s been viewed around 10million times on the 1theK YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Fire” for our KPOP song of the week:

• Firstly the song has a fast and fun club tempo, with solid vocals and a good beat.
• Secondly the video is energetic and matches the song well. Also 10million views is very impressive.
• Finally BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys) have been around for 3 years now and have slowly but surely become KPOP A-List. And therefore very popular.
• On the negative side; it’s a little pro pyro / fire.
