Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our third for May 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past week, however we’ve chosen the solo debut release from Tiffany (Girls Generation). The song is titled “I Just Wanna Dance” and it was released on YouTube Tuesday May 10th, and in that time it’s been viewed around 4.5million times on the SMTOWN YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “I Just Wanna Dance” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has a fun dance beat and simple lyrics. It’s a nice summer style release.
- Secondly the video focuses on dancing and isn’t overly complicated.
- Finally Tiffany is a key member of the biggest KPOP group maybe ever in Girls Generation, so her solo activities should prove popular and well received.
- On the negative side; it’s a little safe and might be forgotten pretty quickly.
