This weeks Photo Wednesday was taken at home. It’s of some ₩1 / One Korean Won Coins. The Korean Won is one of those slightly strange currencies which is in large denominations, roughly speaking $1 = ₩1000 and so a ₩1 coin is worth $0.001. The coin is officially still legal tender however it’s not been used for more than 10 years and even then it was just for change. Therefore finding these coins isn’t easy and so they’re finding a collectable market.
