“Good Luck” by AOA – KPOP Song of the Week

Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our fifth for May 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, however we’ve chosen the new release from girl group AOA. The song is titled “Good Luck” and it was released on YouTube Sunday May 15th, in that time it’s been viewed over 5million times on the 1TheK YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Good Luck” for our KPOP song of the week:

• Firstly the song is catchy and fun.
• Secondly the video has a nice summer feel and had good production value. Also Guam looks beautiful.
• Finally AOA are pretty popular (mainly with male fans) and this release should keep everyone happy.
• On the negative side; product placements are part of the business but they’re pretty big here.
