With the European Championships i.e. Euro 2016 is around a week away the 24 sides involved are all working hard to be ready. Czech Republic reached the Quarter Finals in 2012, losing to Portugal.
Czech Republic vs. South Korea will take place on Saturday June 4th at the Eden Aréna in Prague (Czech Republic), with kick off at 22.10pm (Korea Time).
South Korea: Korea lost to Spain during the week 6-1, this was their first loss since the final of the Asian Cup back at the beginning of 2015. They had a perfect Round 2 World Cup group stage with 8 wins from 8.
Czech Republic: The Czech Republic have played two friendly recently in preparation for Euro2016, beating Malta 6-0 and Russia 2-1. They topped their qualification group which included Turkey, Holland and Iceland. They’ll play Spain, Turkey and Croatia at the Euros.
Head-to-Head: The Czech Republic and South Korea have played twice, the Czech Republic won one (5-0 in 2001) and the other ended in a draw (2-2 in 1998).
South Korea also played Czechoslovakia twice many years ago losing both games.
Prediction: The Czech Republic will have home field advantage and slightly better form. They will however be looking to rotate some players and so might struggle a little as a team. Still we see the Czechs winning this one.
Score: 2-1
