The 4 year long wait is over as the European Championships returns early tomorrow morning (Korea Time). Euro 2016 is the first of the extended format now featuring 24 nations up from the previous 16. Most of the big names are there including England, Italy, Spain and hosts France. But we also have lesser known nations Wales, Northern Ireland, Albania and others.
Of course the time difference between South Korea and France doesn’t make watching the games easy. Early games kick off at 10pm Korea time, followed by games at 1am and 4am. This is why this planner is useful when setting your alarm clock.

What tv channel are the games on?
MBC, MBC Sports as well as via Naver and some other sports channels. In Korea.
is it free to watch the matches in south korea?
i am going to visit korea in few days, i dun wanna miss the matches
Most of the games are on free TV, MBC has been broadcasting the 1am & 4am games. They’re also on the free Naver Streaming service (in Korean).
Most western bars are showing the games (select 4am games). But it depends on were you are visiting.
Can you give specific bars? Anything in the bulkwang yonsinae area? — go Deutschland
We don’t know the bulgwang station area, but Hongdae isn’t far away and any of the western bars there should be showing the game.
Itaewon would be even better, Wolfhound for example. But it’s a little further away.
Failing that it’s always on TV, MBC.
