At the other end of the table, Suwon FC are now bottom, but on the same points as Incheon United. Jeonnam Dragons & Suwon Bluewings a little above them.

FC Seoul vs. Suwon Bluewings (7pm)
This is the second Super Match of the season between the K Leagues 2 biggest sides. FC Seoul are only a point behind leaders Jeonbuk coming into this game, and have won their last 2 games. Suwon Bluewings on the other hand haven’t won in 4 games now and are in danger of entering the relegation battle. This is the 49th Super Match, and the last one ended 1-1. FC Seoul will be favorites to win, but as ever it will be close.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeju United vs. Pohang Steelers (7pm)
Jeju United have won 3 of their last 5, but their midweek game was a surprise 4-0 defeat at the hands of Sangju Sangmu. Pohang Steelers on the other hand won during the week 3-1 against Seongnam FC. That was their first win in 6 games. Earlier this season Pohang won the reverse fixture 1-0. Jeju at home are generally strong and we’re giving them the slight edge here.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Sunday June 12th 2016:
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Suwon FC (5pm)
Ulsan Hyundai lost for the first time in 5 games during the week, but are still sitting in the top half of the table. Suwon FC sadly dropped to the bottom of the league during the week after losing to Incheon United. Suwon FC have lost 6 of their last 7 league games. The previous game this season ended in a 1-1 draw. Ulsan Hyundai will be favorites here.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Sangju Sangmu vs. Jeonnam Dragons (7pm)
Sangju bounced back from 3 straight defeats by hammering Jeju United 4-0 on Wednesday. Jeonnam Dragons also won during the week beating Ulsan Hyundai 3-1. This is the 33rd game between these sides and Jeonnam have won 19 of those games. However Sangju won last time 4-3. This will be a close game and honestly it could go either way and therefore we see it ending in a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Gwangju vs. Seongnam FC (7pm)
Gwangju come into this game looking to regain some form and find some luck. They’ve lost their last 2 games both 3-2. Seongnam FC are still in the championship picture but are slipping a little behind mainly due to the fact they’ve only won once in 5 games. The previous encounter Seongnam won 2-0, in fact Gwangju haven’t beaten Seongnam since November 2012. Seongnam on paper have the slight edge.
Prediction: 2 – 3

The K League Challenge season moves into round 18 this weekend, the 5th round already this month. The highlight game of this round is the Sunday evening Mid-table clash between mangerless Seoul E-Land and 5th placed FC Anyang. Their is also the top of the table clash between joint-leaders Gangwon and Ansan Mugunghwa. It’s a real promotion 6 pointer.

The league table has started to breakup a little with obvious gaps at the top and bottom. Gangwon lead the way, ahead of Ansan on goal difference, Bucheon and Daegu complete the playoff places. Goyang and Gyeongnam a slight adrift at the bottom of the table.
