It has taken a while but finally Lamb is becoming more widely available here in South Korea. It now regularly at Homeplus and there are a growing number of Lamb Kebab / Skewers Restaurants popping up. It may just be a summer trend but fingers crossed it’s here to stay because it’s good.
The Lamb Kebab or Lamb Skewers Restaurant we visited is located on the Cheongna Canal Way in Incheon. Here are our brief thoughts;
Firstly the restaurant was open, clean and the staff were very nice (and tried to speak a little English). Secondly the price was very reasonable starting from ₩11,000 ($10) for 10 Skewers they also had Lamb Chops but they were a little expensive for us. For 2 people 20 sewers is about right. Finally the lamb quality was good, it’s imported from Australia. Honestly you get what you pay for.
Overall it’s a unique experience, solid quality and not over priced. You might not go often but you’d certainly return. Fingers crossed this means an expansion in the Lamb industry here in South Korea.

Location in Cheongna, Incheon
This restaurant is pretty easy to find if you know the Cheongna area. It’s on the 1st floor over looking the canal, 3 building along from the main bridge and post office.
