Taking a quick break from our recent sports posts we have this excellent value Korean Study Book from discount chain Daiso. Daiso (다이소) is a Japanese chain of stores selling mainly household products from cheap cups and plates to bathroom accessories to stationary. They also sell products for kids including toys and study materials. As well as the standard English and Math Books they also have a range of Korean Books.
The Korean Study book we picked up is the 4th in the series, and cost just ₩2000 ($2). It’s a 36 A4 sized pages long and includes a page of stickers (which everybody can enjoy). It’s mainly tracing and writing with a little reading, matching and coloring. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a gift or to improve your Korean skills without spending a ton of money, or of course for Kids. If your Korean is very basic maybe go for a lower level in the series and use a few YouTube videos to help understand the basics.
