A slightly smaller than usual round this weekend, as the games involving Champions League sides Jeonbuk & Seoul were played a few weeks ago. This week therefore focuses more on the mid-table and relegation battles. The highlight game of the weekend is between 2 sides on the edge of the relegation zone Suwon Bluewings and Jeonnam Dragons. It is one of those 6-pointers that neither side can afford to lose.
K League Classic 2016 League Table Update
As we move past the mid point of the season the league table has taken shape. Jeonbuk now have a 10 point lead at the top over FC Seoul. With army side Sangju Sangmu 10 points behind them in 3rd. With Ulsan and Seongnam very close behind them. There are only 4 points separating 6th and 9th, so the mid table battle is very tight.
