K League Classic 2016 League Table Update
As we move past the mid point of the season the league table has taken shape. Jeonbuk now have a 10 point lead at the top over FC Seoul. With army side Sangju Sangmu 10 points behind them in 3rd. With Ulsan and Seongnam very close behind them. There are only 5 points separating 6th and 9th, so the mid table battle is very tight.

K League Classic 2016 Round 28 Previews & Predictions
This round of games take place on Saturday (3) and Sunday (3). Also all of the games take place in the early evening at 7pm, the final time this season. Here are our brief previews and predictions for the 28th round of 2016 K League Classic games;
Saturday August 27th 2016:
Jeju United vs. Seongnam FC (7pm)
The first game of the weekend features two sides just inside of the top half of the table, 6th placed Jeju United & 5th placed Seongnam FC. Jeju United have 3 wins but also 3 defeats from their last 6. Seongnam have fared a little worse with only 1 win from their last 7 games. They’ve drawn twice so far this season, and we see that happening again.
*Fun Fact: Jeju have only won once away against Seongnam in almost 6 years.*
Prediction: 1 – 1
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Gwangju (7pm)
The second game of the weekend features two sides both looking to improve a little. Ulsan Hyundai may be in 4th place but have only 1 win from their last 7 games. Gwangju are doing a little better with 3 wins in 6, but are heavily reliant on top scorer Jung Jo-Gook. Ulsan have won the last 5 encounters between these sides and we see them winning again, even if it’s against the form books.
*Fun Fact: Gwangju have only beaten Ulsan once in 13 games.*
Prediction: 2 – 1
Suwon FC vs. Incheon United (7pm)
The final game on Saturday evening features the two sides at the bottom of the table, Suwon FC and Incheon United. Suwon FC have improved in recently months with 3 wins in 7 games, but scoring goal have been their problem. Incheon United have only 1 win in 10 games and now to improve soon. This is a real relegation 6 pointer, but we see neither side being happy at the end of 90mins as they draw.
*Fun Fact: Suwon FC have only scored 23 goals this season.*
Prediction: 0 – 0
Sunday August 28th 2016:
Sangju Sangmu vs. Suwon Bluewings (7pm)
The first of Sundays games features 2 teams as opposite ends of the table but are in fact only separated by 9 points. Sangju Sangmu have only 2 wins from 7 games but still sit in 3rd place. Suwon Bluewings have only one win in 5 games, but did draw 3 of those games. Suwon have beaten Sangju in the previous 2 encounters this season, however we see Sangju Sangmu winning this one.
*Fun Fact: Sangju last beat Suwon in the league back in April 2011.*
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeonnam Dragons vs. Pohang Steelers (7pm)
The second of Sundays games is a bottom half clash between Jeonnam Dragons (9th) and Pohang Steelers (8th). Jeonnam Dragons have been strong at home recently with 3 wins from their last 4 home league games. Pohang Steelers away form is very different with only 1 away win from their last 9. Jeonnam should be favorites to win this one.
*Fun Fact: Jeonnam have only 1 win against Pohang since 2009.*
Prediction: 3 – 1
