“1 of 1” by SHINee – KPOP Song of the Week

Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Third for October 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, however we’ve chosen the new release from A-List Boyband SHINee with a song titled “1 of 1“. and it was released on YouTube on Tuesday October 4th, in that time it’s been viewed over 2 million times on the SMTOWN YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “1 of 1” for our KPOP song of the week:

• Firstly the song is super catchy and in a slightly more classic SHINee style, which we personally prefer.
• Secondly the video is fun, bright and enjoyable to watch.
• Finally SHINee have been around for a long time and have built a large global fanbase. The only issue are the lack of new younger fans, this might help gain them.
• On the negative side; the video has minimal storyline.
