Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fourth for October 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, however we’ve chosen the new release from Boyband BTS with a song titled “Blood Sweat & Tears“. and it was released on YouTube on Sunday October 9th, in that time it’s been viewed over 28 million times on the ibighit YouTube Channel. Here are our reasons for choosing “Blood Sweat & Tears” for our KPOP song of the week:

  • Firstly the song is catchy with strong vocals from all of the groups members.
  • Secondly the video is interesting and enjoyable to watch. It matches the concept and lyrics excellently.
  • Finally BTS have been around since 2013 and have quickly become one of the most popular KPOP groups.
  • On the negative side; the strange storyline part of the video 4 minutes in.
