“Buzzer Beater” by Haha & Skull – KPOP Song of the Week

Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for November 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, however we’ve chosen the re-release from Popular duo Haha & Skill with a song titled “Buzzer Beater“. and it was re-released on YouTube on Wednesday October 26th. Here are our reasons for choosing “Buzzer Beater” for our KPOP song of the week:

• Firstly the song has a great combination of Korean Reggae, dance and rapping. The vocals are solid from beginning to end.
• Secondly the video matches the lyrics nicely, with a basketball themed storyline.
• Finally Haha is a superstar in South Korea mainly as a TV Personally, less so as a signer. Anything he does will be popular.
• On the negative side; it’s a re-release and therefore won’t be as popular as more recent new releases.
