Gangwon vs. Seongnam FC (7pm) – K League Promotion / Relegation Playoff 1st Leg @ 7pm
Following a long and hard season it’s now time for the end of season promotion / relegation playoffs. It will be between K League Challenge Playoff Winners Gangwon and 11th placed K League Side Seongnam FC, over 2 legs. Seongnam had an awful run of form toward the end of the season dropping down from mid-table and into the relegation playoff spot. Seongnam have only 1 win in 14 games, and that was against bottom side Suwon FC. Gangwon on the other hand won both of their playoff games vs. Busan I’Park and then Bucheon 1995, after finishing the season in 4th place.
As this is only the 1st leg we see it being a little cagey and tight, we see it ending all square and the 2nd leg becoming winner takes all.

The game finished goalless and there isn’t really much to mention. Over 3,000 turned up which is solid for a cold November Thursday Evening. Hopefully the 2nd leg with be a little more open.
