Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Third for December 2016.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from girl group Apink with a song titled “Cause You’re My Star“. It was released on YouTube on Wednesday December 14th. Here are our reasons for choosing “Cause You’re My Star” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is cute, mellow with a nice concept and great vocals from start to finish.
- Secondly the video is has had around 1.6million views in only a few days. It matches the lyrics and style of the song nicely.
- Finally Apink have been around for 5 years now and in that time have released a number of popular tracks, this one included.
- On the negative side; for a December release it isn’t seasonal.
