Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for January and 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the first release of 2017 from S.E.S with a song titled “Remember“. It was released on YouTube on Sunday January 1st. Here are our reasons for choosing “”Remember”” for our KPOP song of the week:

  • Firstly the song is sweet, soft and enjoyable to listen too.
  • Secondly the video matches the lyrics and tempo of the song nicely.
  • Finally S.E.S have been around since 1997, and will be releasing a 20th anniversary album soon. They have a loyal fan base with a wide range of ages.
  • On the negative side; S.E.S aren’t super popular these days the this release might not gain much interest from younger kpop fans.
