Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fifth for January 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the solo release of 2017 from Seohyun (Girls Generation) with a song titled “Don’t Say No“. It was released on YouTube on Monday January 16th. Here are our reasons for choosing “Don’t Say No” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is fun with a nice tempo and strong vocals and lyrics from start to finish.
- Secondly the video is well produced and keeps the focus on Seohyun.
- Finally Seohyun is a member of maybe the most famous KPOP Group of all time Girls Generation, and therefore this release will be popular with a large fan group.
- On the negative side; it’s nice but nothing amazing.
