Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fourth for February 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from Taeyeon with a song titled “I Got Love“. It was released on YouTube on Friday February 17th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Taeyeon” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is slow and highlights the vocal range of Taeyeon.
- Secondly the video is artistic and cool, with a dark concept at times.
- Finally Taeyeon has transitioned into a solo career well, with her previous releases I and Why both performing well. She is going to be a key feature of the KPOP industry for years to come.
- On the negative side; it’s a little short and it seems feature a false buildup.
