Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Second for March 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from GFriend with a song titled “FingerTip“. It was released on YouTube on Sunday March 5th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “FingerTip” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is in the usual GFriend style, cute, fun and sweet. It also features solid vocals and tempo changes.
- Secondly the video contains an interesting fantasy/action theme, with a nice mixture of dancing and story.
- Finally GFriend are super popular these days both with younger and older KPOP fans.
- On the negative side; it’s a move slightly away from their girl-next-door beginnings and some fans might not like it.
