Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for April 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from star IU with a song titled “Through The Night“. It was released on YouTube on Friday March 24th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Through The Night” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is a sweet but powerfully messaged ballad, with the expected IU vocals.
- Secondly the video is simple with well thought out sets and elements that match the lyrics nicely.
- Finally IU has been around since 2008, but is still only 23years old. She has a large and loyal global fanbase. Whatever she releases proves popular.
- On the negative side; it could get lost quickly.
