The 7th round of the K League Classic season continues on Sunday afternoon with a couple of interesting games. The standout being the top of the table clash between last seasons Champions League Winners Jeonbuk Hyundai and 2nd placed Pohang Steelers. Also on Sunday afternoon is the mid-table clash between Sangju Sangmu and Gwangju.

K League Classic 2017 League Table Update
After 6 games the K League Classic league table is starting to take shape. Jeonbuk Hyundai now top the table, a point ahead of Pohang Steelers. Then come Jeju United and FC Seoul. Gangwon, Sangju Sangmu and Ulsan Hyundai makeup the mid-table all tied on 8 points. Then come Daegu, Gwangju and Suwon Bluewings. Finally Jeonnam Dragons and Incheon United both slipping behind and both on just 3 points.
K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday April 23rd – Round 7)
Moving onto the football, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays 2 games;
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Pohang Steelers @ 3pm
The highlight game of the day comes from the Jeonju Civil Stadium as league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai take on 2nd placed Pohang Steelers. Jeonbuk Hyundai are still undefeated in the league so far this season, winning 4 and drawing 2 of their 6 games. However they lost on penalties in the cup to Bucheon 1995 during the week. Pohang Steelers only defeat of the season came on the opening day of the season, since then they’ve won 4 and drawn 1. However just like Jeonbuk they also lost in the cup during the week 1-0 aet to Busan I’Park
Prediction: 1 – 1
Jeonbuk Hyundai are odds on favorites, however we see this ending in a draw.

Sangju Sangmu vs. Gwangju @ 3pm
The second game involves Sangju Sangmu and Gwangju, in what might not be the most interesting game on paper but could be a dark horse. Sangju Sangmu have lost a little form recently drawing 2 and losing 1. They did at least win during the week in the cup. Gwangju also won during the week in the cup beating Yonsei University. In the league Gwangju have drawn 3 games straight.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Neither side in on-form at the moment, however we see Sangju Sangmu having the slight edge.

K League Challenge 2017 (Sunday April 23rd – Round 8) Previews & Predictions
Sunday afternoon and evening also features two games in the K League Challenge. The standout game on Sunday is the game host by current league leaders Gyeongnam as they take on Ansan Greeners. The later game between Seoul E-Land and Suwon FC in also interesting.

K League Challenge 2017 League Table Update
The league table after just seven games has Gyeongnam topping the table, followed by Busan I’Park, Bucheon 1995 and Asan Mugunghwa who currently fill the playoff places. Suwon FC, FC Anyang and Ansan Greeners follow close behind. Daejeon Citizen and Seoul E-Land are already a little off the pace. Finally we have Seongnam FC who still sit at the bottom.

Here are brief previews and predictions for this Sunday’s K League Challenge games;
Gyeongnam vs. Ansan Greeners @ 3pm
The first of Sundays games is hosted by current league leaders Gyeongnam. Gyeongnam are undefeated this season winning 5 and drawing 2 of their opening 7 games. Plus they beat Classic side Daegu in the cup during the week. Ansan Greeners have had a mixed start to life as a professional team, winning twice but losing 4 times in 2017.
Prediction: 3 – 1
Gyeongnam are in form at the moment and therefore will start as favorites.

Seoul E-Land vs. Suwon FC @ 5pm
The late game of the day comes from the Seoul Olympic Stadium as Seoul E-Land host Suwon FC. Seoul E-Land have struggled this season only winning 1 of their 7 games, and have lost heavily in recent weeks. Suwon FC dropped out of the playoff places in recent weeks after drawing 3 games straight.
Prediction: 0 – 2
Suwon should have the edge here, unless E-Land have completely changed their system in the past week.
