The K League Classic’s 8th round continues on Sunday afternoon and evening with 4 important late spring games. The champions league sides are all in action looking to recover from this past weeks embarrassing results (aside from Jeju). The clash between Jeju United and Suwon Bluewings certainly stands out, with the game between Ulsan and Incheon also looking interesting maybe for the wrong reasons.
A quick reminder that this season we’re going to the covering each match day separately (the last few seasons it’s been each round). Making the posts a little shorter and focused on a day. Video Highlights, Goal Updates and more via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday April 30th – Round 8)
Moving onto the football, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays 4 games;
Gwangju vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai @ 3pm
The first game of the day comes from the Guus Hiddink Stadium in Gwangju. Gwangju haven’t won in the league since the first game of the season, they have however picked up 3 draws. Jeonbuk Hyundai are undefeated in the league winning 5 and drawing 2.
Prediction: 0 – 2
Despite being away from home Jeonbuk will be favorites to win this one.
Jeju United vs. Suwon Bluewings @ 3pm
The second game of the day comes from the Jeju Civil Stadium (not the normal World Cup Stadium). Where Jeju United host Suwon Bluewings. Jeju have only lost once in the league this season winning 4 and drawing 2. They looked strong during the week being Jiangsu Suning in the ACL. Suwon picked up their first league win of the season last weekend beating Gangwon, and can be difficult to beat highlighted by their 5 draws in 7 games statistic.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Jeju will be favorites but tiredness and an unknown pitch makes us see a draw.

Daegu vs. FC Seoul @ 3pm
The final 3 o’clock Sunday kick off comes from the Daegu Stadium, where Daegu host FC Seoul. Daegu have lost their last 2 league games and were knocked out of the cup by Challenge Level opposition. FC Seoul however won last weekend (with a little luck) against local rivals Incheon United, but crashed out of the ACL.
Prediction: 1 – 2
We’re giving Seoul the edge as they now focus solely on the domestic season.
Incheon United vs. Ulsan Hyundai @ 5pm
The late Sunday game comes from the Sungui Arena (Incheon Football Stadium), as Incheon United host Ulsan Hyundai. Bottom of the league Incheon are the only side still without a win this season and lost 3 league games straight shipping 8 goals in process. Ulsan Hyundai haven’t done much better losing 5-0 last weekend to Jeonnam and then 4-0 during the week in the ACL.
Prediction: 2 – 2
Two sides lacking form and confidence, Ulsan maybe narrow favorites but we see it ending in an entertaining draw.

The league table after eight games has Gyeongnam topping the table, followed by Busan I’Park, Asan Mugunghwa and Bucheon 1995 who currently fill the playoff places. Suwon FC, FC Anyang and Ansan Greeners follow close behind. Daejeon Citizen and Seoul E-Land are already a little off the pace. Finally we have Seongnam FC who still sit at the bottom.

K League Challenge 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday April 30th – Round 9)
Here are brief previews and predictions for this Saturday’s K League Challenge games;
Bucheon 1995 vs. Gyeongnam @ 3pm
The first of Sundays Challenge games comes from the Bucheon Stadium. Bucheon 1995 beat Champions League holders Jeonbuk in the cup recently but lost to Anyang last weekend. League leaders Gyeongnam look like the side to beat this season 3 points clear and undefeated. Marcão will be the one to watch.
Prediction: 1 – 2
Bucheon 1995 are strong going forward but weak at the back, so we see a win for the visitors Gyeongnam.
Suwon FC vs. Daejeon Citizen @ 3pm
In our featured Sunday Challenge game Suwon FC host Daejeon Citizen. Suwon FC have only lost once this season, but 4 draws in recent games has pushed them out of the playoff spots. Daejeon Citizen have only 1 win all season and apart from Cristian Dănălache lack attacking options.
Prediction: 1 – 0
We see a narrow win for Suwon.
+Game of Day+ This is our highlight game of the day and therefore we’ll be covering it in extra detail via our Twitter Page
Seoul E-Land vs. Asan Mugunghwa @ 5pm
The late Sunday game comes from the Seoul World Cup Stadium as Seoul E-Land host Asan Mugunghwa. Seoul E-Land picked out a narrow win a few weeks ago but apart from that have looked poor. 3 goals in 8 games highlights their main issue. Asan Mugunghwa look solid in 3rd place winning 4 of their 8 games this season.
Prediction: 0 – 2
Asan aren’t always great away from home, but they should have the edge over Seoul E-Land.
