“Palette” by IU feat. G-Dragon – KPOP Song of the Week

Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for May 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from star IU with a song titled “Palette” (feat. G-Dragon). It was released on YouTube on Friday April 21st 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Through The Night” for our KPOP song of the week:

Firstly the song is mellow and very IU, simple backing with more of a focus on the lyrics.
Secondly the video is very watchable and leads you though the song perfectly.
Finally IU has been around since 2008, but is still only 23years old. She has a large and loyal global fanbase. Whatever she releases proves popular, and when you add in G-Dragon it leads to 17million+ views.
On the negative side; it would have been nice to see G-Dragon in the video.
