Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Second for May 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from superstar PSY with a song titled “I LUV IT“. It was released on YouTube on Wednesday May 10th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “I LUV IT” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song has the normal PSY feel, with solid vocals and catchy lyrics.
- Secondly the video is crazy, fun, strange and everything you expect from PSY.
- Finally PSY is a global star because of Gangnam Style, everything he releases will be popular but maybe not quite as good.
- On the negative side; it’s not Gangnam Style and the Asiana product placement.
