In comparison to Saturday, Sunday is a quiet day in the K League with only 5 games across the 2 divisions. However there are also 4 games in the U20 World Cup to enjoy and the action starts at 2pm (Zambia v Portugal) and finishes at around 10pm (Uruguay v Italy). In the K League Classic the standout game is the bottom vs. top clash between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Incheon United. A big banana skin game for Jeonbuk, as Incheon aren’t as big as their league position.
A quick reminder that this season we’re going to the covering each match day separately (the last few seasons it’s been each round). Making the posts a little shorter and focused on a day. Video Highlights, Goal Updates and more via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

K League Classic 2017 League Table Update
Jeonbuk Hyundai lead the way but are only a single point clear at the top over Jeju United. 9 points separate 2nd to 10th, whilst Daegu and Incheon United are at the bottom and need to improve.
Note: Doesn’t include Saturday’s results.
K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday May 21st – Round 12)
Moving onto the days action, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays 2 games;
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Incheon United @ 4pm
The afternoon game (due to the poor floodlights at the Jeonju Civil Stadium) is between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Incheon United. Top of the league Jeonbuk have been inconsistent recently only winning 1 game in 4. However they do have the best defensive in the league. Incheon United have only won once all season and played out a dull draw against Gwangju last weekend.
Prediction: 1 – 0
We see a narrow win for Jeonbuk.
Gwangju vs. Pohang Steelers @ 7pm
The 7 o’clock game is between 10th placed Gwangju and 3rd placed Pohang Steelers. Gwangju eased past Asan Mugunghwa in the cup 3-0 during the week, but have been poor in the league lacking goals (6 in 11 games). Pohang have bounced back from a losing run to win 2 on the bounce beating Seoul and Jeju.
Prediction: 1 – 2
We see Gwangju scoring a rare goal, but Pohang winning in the end.

K League Challenge 2017 Predictions (Sunday May 21st – Round 13)
Here are predictions for this Sunday’s K League Challenge games;
Busan I’Park vs. Seoul E-Land @ 7pm
Prediction: 2 – 0
Busan will be on a high after beating FC Seoul during the week in the cup, but also tired. E-Land haven’t been great this season, so we’re looking at a Busan win.
FC Anyang vs. Ansan Greeners @ 7pm
Prediction: 1 – 1
Both sides are on solid form and aren’t beaten easily at the moment. So we see a draw.
Seongnam FC vs. Daejeon Citizen @ 7pm
Prediction: 2 – 1
A battle of the bottom two which sadly for Daejeon we see Seongnam winning. They looked improved during the week in the cup beating Gangwon.
