Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Third for May 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from boyband VIXX with a song titled “Shangri-La“. It was released on YouTube on Monday May 15th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Shangri-La” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is cool, mellow and flows nicely from start to finish.
- Secondly the video is a little strange, but that’s VIXX fans enjoy.
- Finally VIXX have slowly become one of the most popular KPOP groups both inside and outside of Korea in recent years.
- On the negative side; it’s maybe lacking a little usp.
