Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fourth for May 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from girl group TWICE with a song titled “Signal“. It was released on YouTube on Monday May 15th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Signal” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is has a catchy chorus and strong vocals from start to finish.
- Secondly the video shows a high level of production value with a small amount of Alien related story, but more of a focus on the group.
- Finally TWICE in 12 months have developed into one of the biggest KPOP groups.
- On the negative side; it could get annoying after a while on repeat. But 33million views isn’t going to stop it.
