This week the Champions League moves into the 2nd legs of the Round of 16, and Jeju United are the only K League side still in the competition. They take on J-League side Urawa Reds, and hold a 2-0 lead over them from the 1st leg.
AFC Champions League Previews and Predictions (Wednesday May 31st 2017)
Here are our brief preview for Jeju United v Urawa Reds as well as head-to-head (H2H) records and predictions;
Urawa Reds vs. Jeju United (0-2 agg) @ 7.30pm
On Wednesday evening Jeju United take on Urawa Reds in the 2nd leg of the Round of 16 stages of the 2017 AFC Champions League. K League side Jeju United have enjoyed a strong return to Champions League action this year finishing 2nd in their group only behind Jiangsu Suning. They are currently 2nd in the K League but have found the number of fixtures difficult recently, but didn’t play at the weekend. J-League side Urawa Reds topped the group of death ahead of Guangzhou Evergrande, FC Seoul and Western Sydney Wanderers. They are currently 4th in the J-League. Interesting game on paper, Urawa will have to go for broke has they are down 2-0.
Head-to-Head / H2H:
They’ve played once before in the 1st leg which Jeju won 2-0
Prediction:
1 – 1
A draw on the night and Jeju progressing 3-1 on agg.
