The hosts South Korea crashed out of the competition last night and therefore local interest maybe lost, but there is still a lot of football to be played. The Round of 16 continues on Wednesday afternoon and evening with 3 more games. The standout game being between England and Costa Rica.

U20 World Cup 2017 Previews / Predictions – Wednesday May 31st 2017
Here are the details on the games on Wednesday in the U20 World Cup Round of 16;
Uruguay vs. Saudi Arabia – 5pm
The early Wednesday Round of 16 game is between Uruguay & Saudi Arabia. Uruguay topped group D with impressive wins over Italy and Japan, between a rotated squad drew with South Africa. Saudi Arabia squeezed into the round of 16 and never looked like world beaters during there Group F games.
Uruguay will be favorites for the win.
Prediction: Uruguay 2 – 0 Saudi Arabia
Zambia vs. Germany – 8pm
The evenings game at the Jeju World Cup Stadium is between Zambia and Germany. African champions Zambia have looked strong so far and topped Group C beating Portugal and Iran on the way. Germany on the other hand found Group B difficult losing to Venezuela, drawing with Mexico and only beating minnows Vanuatu.
Zambia should have the edge here, but Germany aren’t to be underestimated.
Prediction: Zambia 2 – 1 Germany
England vs. Costa Rica – 8pm
In the final round of 16 game on Wednesday England take on Costa Rica at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium. England topped group A beating Argentina, drawing with Guinea before beating hosts South Korea. Costa Rica narrowly progressed thanks to a surprise win over a weaken Zambia.
England have been the better side so far, and we see them moving onto the quarter finals.
Prediction: England 2 – 0 Costa Rica
