The round of 16 concludes on Thursday afternoon and evening with the final 3 games. Tuesday produced a shock, but Wednesday was a little more by the form-book, but Thursday? The standout game being between European Nations France and Italy, some thought this would be the final so it should be a good game.

U20 World Cup 2017 Previews / Predictions – Thursday June 1st 2017
Here are the details on the games on Thursday in the U20 World Cup Round of 16;
Mexico vs. Senegal – 4.30pm
The early Wednesday Round of 16 game is the first of the day from the Incheon World Cup Stadium. It’s between Mexico and Senegal, both sides have the same record from the group stages, winning their opening games, but then losing and drawing the other games. Neither side has been impressive.
Could go either way and extra time is a possibility. But we’ll side with Senegal as they’re used to playing in Incheon.
Prediction: Mexico 0 – 1 Senegal
United States vs. New Zealand – 8pm
The evenings game at the Incheon Football Stadium is between the United States and New Zealand. The United States topped group F and were unbeaten with 2 draws and a 1-0 win over Senegal. New Zealand drew with Vietnam, beat Honduras before losing to tournament favorites France.
The United States will be narrow favorites to progress.
Prediction: United States 2 – 1 New Zealand
France vs. Italy – 8pm
In the final round of 16 game on Thursday France take on Italy at the Cheonan Stadium. France were very impressive during the group stages winning all 3 of their games scoring 9 and conceding 0. Italy on the other hand only beat South Africa during their group stage games, and dropped a 2 goal lead against Japan.
France have been the better side so far, and we see them moving onto the quarter finals. But Italy could grab a goal.
Prediction: France 3 – 1 Italy
