Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fourth for June 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from KPOP group NCT 127 with a song titled “Cherry Bomb“. It was released on YouTube on Wednesday June 14th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Cherry Bomb” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is a nice blend of hip-hop, rap and strong vocals.
- Secondly the video has the expected high production values of SM Town.
- Finally NCT are one of the biggest rookie groups from the past couple of years and are expected to go far.
- On the negative side; the video is a little boring.
