Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our First for July 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from Solo artist G.Soul (feat. Hoody) with a song titled “Tequila“. It was released on YouTube on Monday June 26th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Tequila” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is mellow, with a more western sound and vibe. The vocals are strong and it’s makes nice background or driving music.
- Secondly the video is cool with a summer feel and matches the mood of the song and lyrics.
- Finally G.Soul recently moved to H1GHR MUSIC from JYP and this change might push him more into the limelight.
- On the negative side; It might get lost as it’s via a lesser known label.
