Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Second for July 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from Solo artist Lee Hyori with a song titled “Black“. It was released on YouTube on Tuesday July 4th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Black” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song mixes together a few different genres and overall is very easy to listen too.
- Secondly the video is well produced, artist and matches the mood of the song nicely.
- Finally Lee Hyori has a career spanning almost 20years and despite being close to 40 now, still has something to offer to the KPOP genre.
- On the negative side; it’s one of a few recent releases for Lee Hyori so it might get a little lost.
