K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday July 23rd – Round 22)
Moving onto the days action, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays 3 games;
Suwon Bluewings vs. Sangju Sangmu @ 6pm
The earlier first game of the day is between in-form Suwon Bluewings and out-of-form Sangju Sangmu. Suwon Bluewings along with Brazilian Johnathan have looked unbeatable recently winning their last 4 games on the bounce. Sangju Sangmu have lost 4 of their last 5 and have dropped closer to the relegation battle in recent weeks.
Prediction: 3 – 1
Suwon will be a strong favorites in this one.
Gangwon vs. Daegu @ 7pm
The second game of the day is between 2 sides having very different seasons. High flying surprise package Gangwon and struggling Daegu. Gangwon have lacked form in recent weeks only picking up a single point from their past 3 games, however they are generally better at home. Daegu picked up their first win in 9 games during the week beating Pohang 3-0.
Prediction: 2 – 1
We see Gangwon maybe edging this one overall recent performances, however if Daegu play like they did on Wednesday it could be very close.
FC Seoul vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai @ 7pm
The the final game on Saturday is the big game of the weekend between two K League giants FC Seoul and league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai. These sides played only a few weeks ago with FC Seoul coming out on top thanks to a late Park Chu-Young goal. FC Seoul have won 4 of their last 5 games and smashed Incheon during the 5-1, Dejan bagging a hat-trick. Jeonbuk Hyundai have been on similar form with 3 wins from 4 games and are currently 3 points clear at the top of the Classic.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Just like the previous games between these sides, it will be close and honestly we see tired legs and a draw.
