Hello and welcome to this weeks Modern Seoul KPOP Song of the Week, our Fourth for July 2017.
There have been a few interesting new KPOP releases over the past few weeks, this week we’ve gone for the new release from boyband EXO with a song titled “Ko Ko Bop“. It was released on YouTube on Tuesday June 18th 2017. Here are our reasons for choosing “Ko Ko Bop” for our KPOP song of the week:
- Firstly the song is cool, it builds nicely in tempo and mixes together a number of different musical styles.
- Secondly the video has an interesting concept a mixture of dreams or fantasies.
- Finally EXO have been active for 5-6 years and have become one of the lead KPOP Groups currently, with fans all over the world.
- On the negative side; it’s maybe trying to do to much at once.
