The K League weekend moves onto Sunday and we have 3 more important games. The standout one being the Hyundai derby between Jeonbuk and Ulsan, which is also 1st vs. 3rd. Previews and Predictions for all of Sundays games below;

K League Classic 2017 League Table Update
Jeonbuk Hyundai currently top the table 7 points ahead of Suwon Bluewings and Ulsan Hyundai. Jeju, Seoul and Gangwon complete a very tight top half. Pohang Steelers are 2 points behind the top 6. Jeonnam Dragons are a little behind them. Sangju Sangmu, Daegu, Gwangju and finally Incheon United are the 4 sides currently adrift and in the relegation battle.

K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday August 6th – Round 22)
Moving onto the days action, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays 3 games;
Pohang Steelers vs. Jeonnam Dragons @ 7pm
The first game of the day comes from the Steelyard and features two sides at the top of the bottom half of the table. Pohang Steelers and Jeonnam Dragons. Pohang came from behind to beat Gwangju during the week breaking a 4 game losing run. Jeonnam Dragons also won during the week, beating a poor Sangju Sangmu 2-0, for their 2nd win in 4 games.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Neither side see firing on all cylinders, and we think both maybe happy with a draw.
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Ulsan Hyundai @ 7pm
The second game of the day is the big Hyundai derby between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Ulsan Hyundai. This is also a top of the table clash. Current league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai eased past Incheon United 3-1 on Wednesday extending their winning run to 4 games. Ulsan Hyundai on the other hand drew against Suwon and prior to take drew against Incheon United, losing ground on the leaders.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Jeonbuk are on fantastic form and although Ulsan are hard to beat we see Jeonbuk taking the W.
Sangju Sangmu vs. Gangwon @ 7pm
The the final game of the weekend is between Sangju Sangmu and Gangwon. Sangju Sangmu have not been having the best of luck recently losing their last 4 games on the bounce. Gangwon have also been struggling losing their last 3 games. So it’s obvious that both sides will be looking to break their poor runs.
Prediction: 1 – 1
This really could go either way, so we think a draw is the likely outcome.

K League Challenge 2017 (Sunday August 6th – Round 23) Previews & Predictions

K League Challenge 2017 League Table Update
The league table at this point has Gyeongnam topping the table 7 points clear, followed by Busan I’Park. The an 8 point gap to Bucheon 1995 and now Seongnam FC who currently fill the other playoff places. Asan Mugunghwa, Suwon and FC Anyang are close behind. Then there’s a gap to Ansan, Seoul and finally Daejeon who are 2 points adrift.

K League Challenge 2017 Predictions (Saturday August 5th – Round 23)
Here are predictions for this Saturday’s K League Challenge game:
Seoul E-Land vs. Seongnam FC @ 7pm
Prediction: 1 – 2
E-Land draw at home 7 from 10 this season. However Seongnam are making a push for the top, so we’re siding with them.
Busan I’Park vs. FC Anyang @ 7pm
Prediction: 2 – 1
Both sides are lacking a little consistency a the moment, however Busan are strong at home whilst Anyang weak away. Therefore we see Busan winning.
