The K League Classic is back following an extra long International Break. There are 2 games on Saturday with a further 4 on Sunday. K League Classic 2017 League Table Update
Jeonbuk Hyundai currently top the table 4 points ahead of Jeju United. Ulsan Hyundai are currently in the final Champions League spot. Suwon Bluewings, Seoul and Gangwon complete a very tight top half. Pohang Steelers are 6 points behind the top 6. Jeonnam Dragons are 3 points behind them. Daegu, Incheon United Sangju Sangmu and finally Gwangju complete the table and are 6 points adrift.
K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Saturday September 9th – Round 28)
Moving onto the days action, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Saturdays 2 games;
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Sangju Sangmu @ 7pm
The first game of the day comes from the South East Coast and is between 3rd placed Ulsan Hyundai and 11th (2nd from bottom) Sangju Sangmu. Before the international break Ulsan Hyundai had struggled to finish games off drawing 4 and winning 1 of their last 5 games. However Sangju had struggled even more losing 4 and drawing 1.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Ulsan will be favorites to take the three points here.
FC Seoul vs. Jeju United @ 7pm
The second game of the day is a top half clash from the Seoul World Cup Stadium. It’s between 5th placed FC Seoul and 2nd placed Jeju United, with both sides still in the hunt for at least Champions League spots this could be key for both. Prior to the International break FC Seoul have picked up 8 points from their previous 4 games, whilst Jeju United had won 3 in a row pushing them up to 2nd. This will be a close game.
Prediction: 1 – 1
Seoul and Jeju seem evenly matched on paper at least. Therefore we’re siding with a draw.

K League Challenge 2017 (Saturday September 9th – Round 29) Previews & Predictions
Saturday evening also features three games from the K League Challenge. League leaders Gyeongnam vs. struggling Suwon FC looks to be the standout game.

K League Challenge 2017 League Table Update
The league table at this point has Gyeongnam topping the table now 10 points clear, followed by Busan I’Park. Then there is a 10 point gap to Bucheon 1995 and Seongnam FC who currently fill the other playoff places. Asan Mugunghwa and Suwon are a little behind. Then there’s a small gap to FC Anyang and Seoul E-Land. Then we have Ansan Greeners and Daejeon Citizen who look too far away from the playoff places now.
K League Challenge 2017 Predictions (Saturday September 9th – Round 29)
Here are predictions for this Saturday’s K League Challenge games:
Ansan Greeners vs. Busan I’Park @ 7pm
Prediction: 0 – 2
2nd placed Busan I’Park should have the edge here against 2nd from bottom Ansan Greeners.
Seoul E-Land vs. FC Anyang @ 7pm
Prediction: 3 – 2
We see much improved E-Land taking the 3 points here, in a possible goal feast as neither side defends well.
Gyeongnam vs. Suwon FC @ 7pm
Prediction: 2 – 1
Run away league leaders Gyeongnam will be favorites to take this one. However we do see Suwon at least scoring a goal.
