K League Classic 2017 League Table Update

Jeonbuk Hyundai currently top the table now only 3 points ahead of Jeju United. Ulsan Hyundai are currently in the final Champions League spot. Suwon Bluewings, Seoul and Gangwon complete the top half. Pohang Steelers are 4 points behind the top 6. Jeonnam Dragons are 4 points behind them and need a miracle to finish in the top half. Daegu, Incheon United and Sangju Sangmu are all level on 31 points in a tight relegation battle. Finally Gwangju complete the table and are 9 points adrift and favorites to go down.

K League Classic 2017 Previews & Predictions (Sunday September 24th – Round 31)

Moving onto the days action, here are our brief previews and predictions for this Sundays games;

FC Seoul vs. Pohang Steelers @ 3pm

Prediction:  2 – 1
FC Seoul looked improved hammering Gwangju on Wednesday and will be favorites to beat 7th placed Pohang Steelers, who are generally weaker away from home.

Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Daegu @ 6pm

Prediction:  2 – 0
Jeonbuk struggled on Wednesday losing to lowly Sangju, however they’ve been impressive generally this season. Daegu are in the relegation battle and weaker away from home. Therefore we see Jeonbuk winning this one.

Gwangju vs. Gangwon @ 7pm

Prediction:  1 – 3
Bottom side Gwangju haven’t won since July and have only 1 point from their last 5 games. Gangwon have been in a bit of a slump recently but we see them edging this one.

K League Challenge 2017 (Sunday September 24th – Round 31) Preview & Predictions

Saturday evening also features three games from the K League Challenge. There now are only 6 rounds until the end of the 2017 regular season. League leaders Gyeongnam hosting 3rd placed Bucheon looks to be the standout game.

K League Challenge 2017 League Table Update

The league table at this point has Gyeongnam topping the table now 5 points clear, followed by Busan I’Park. Then there is a 13 point gap to Bucheon 1995 and Seongnam FC who currently fill the other playoff places. Asan Mugunghwa are a little behind. Then there’s a small gap to Suwon FC, FC Anyang and Seoul E-Land who all look almost out of the playoff picture. Then we have Ansan Greeners and Daejeon Citizen who are too far away from the playoff places now.

K League Challenge 2017 Predictions (Sunday September 24th – Round 31)

Here are predictions for this Sunday’s K League Challenge games:

Seongnam FC vs. Asan Mugunghwa @ 7pm

Prediction: 1 – 1
This game could impact the playoff situation. We see it ending in a draw as both sides are lacking form.

Seoul E-Land vs. Busan I’Park @ 7pm

Prediction: 0 – 2
In-form Busan I’Park with be the obvious favorites to overcome an improved Seoul E-Land.
